AC2024: A must for municipalities of all sizes!
Redefining our Future, FCM’s 2024 Annual Conference and Trade Show in Calgary from June 6-9, promises to be a vibrant hub where community leaders exchange best practices, insights and achievements, offering something for every delegate—including those from rural municipalities.
Did you know that typically more than half of our delegates come from small (less
than 10 000 pop.) and rural municipalities?
Important discussions will be held on building resiliency in our communities, on affordable housing, climate resilience, local infrastructure and more. We’ll be shedding light on how a new Municipal Growth Framework will empower municipalities of all sizes to meet the demands of the future and continue to deliver the quality of life residents expect.
With varied workshops, plenaries and networking events, AC2024 is the perfect opportunity for leaders from communities large and small to grow their skills and learn more about topics that resonate with their own realities. Specially selected speakers that best represent the diversity of our membership will take part in each session.
This year, we’re excited to announce two Rural plenary sessions designed to explore the issues and realities crucial to rural communities across Canada.
Don’t miss the chance to bring your own perspective to the conversation! Be sure to attend the sessions that resonate best with your community, like:
